About Higher or lower

Higher or lower is a daily quiz about the countries of the world: does the next country have a higher or lower number? The category changes every day – population, area or GDP per capita – using data from the World Bank. Keep your streak going as long as you can.

How to play Higher or lower

Every day you get a chain of 16 countries and a category – population, area or GDP per capita.

• You can see the number for the country on the left.
• Guess whether the country on the right has a higher or lower number.
• Guess right and you keep going. One wrong guess and the round is over.
• The maximum score is 15.

The numbers come from the World Bank. A new chain every day at midnight (Danish time). Your results are only stored in your own browser.

Yes. Higher or lower is free, needs no account and works in the browser on phone, tablet and computer.

When is there a new puzzle?

Every day at midnight Danish time (CET/CEST). Everyone gets the same puzzle, so you can compare results with friends.
